The Compact Flash Filter Cake Dryer Skid Mounted Pilot Plant Drying Machine is a purpose-built rotary flash drying system engineered for dewatered filter cake and other high-moisture particulate materials. Combining a high-speed dispersing mechanism with an upflow hot-air stream, it converts wet cake into a free-flowing, uniformly dried powder in a single continuous pass.
Unlike tray or vacuum dryers that rely on static contact, the flash dryer suspends each particle in a turbulent hot-air field so that the entire surface area is exposed to heat at once. This design is particularly effective for customers with limited floor space who still require industrial-grade drying performance, where rapid and even moisture removal directly protects product quality and throughput.
Working Principle
Fresh outside air is drawn in by a blower through an air filter. After being heated by the heating device, the clean hot air is injected at high speed into the main drying tower through the hot-air duct and the volute at the bottom of the dryer. Wet material is fed into the drying unit by a screw feeder, dispersed by the dispersing device at the bottom of the dryer, and then lifted by the hot air, rising in a fully suspended state. The suspended fine particles make full contact with the hot air and complete the drying process almost instantly. After classification by the product classifier at the top of the tower, the dried fine particles are discharged and separated by the cyclone separator, then released as finished product through the discharge valve. The exhaust gas passes through a pulse bag filter that collects residual fine powder before the air is released by the induced draft fan.
